Julia Rosa Stoeckl (Organisation)
Julia Rosa Stoeckl grew up in the Ziller Valley. After graduating from Highschool she took first acting classes and did an internship for the Warner Brothers production “V For Vendetta” in Berlin. In 2005 she starred in her first feature film “Dead In 3 Days” directed by Andreas Prochaska that has been sold to 36 countries and for which she was nominated for the Undine Award. After that she appeared in numerous TV and feature film productions (i.a. “Das juengste Gericht 1 + 2”, “Der Winzerkoenig 2+3”, “Planet USA”, “Stille”).
Parallel to her acting training in Berlin and Innsbruck she had her stage debut at the Tyrolean Landestheater in Klaus Rohrmosers production “The Crucible” in 2006. She has been performing multiple times at the Tyrolean Landestheater Innsbruck, Theater Akzent Vienna, Wald4tler Hoftheater, with the Volksschauspiele Telfs and at the Tyrolean Dramatikerfestival and worked amongst others with Hakon Hirzenberger, Markus Voellenklee, Maya Fanke and Reinhard Goeber. Her most important roles have been Nina in “The Seagull” (Czechov), Gretchen in “Urfaust”(Goethe) and Hedwig in “The Wild Duck” (Ibsen).
In 2011 after their cooperation of many years she and Reinhard Goeber founded the DIVA Monodrama Festival Austria. The Festival showcases one-woman/man-shows from different categories and countries. The artistic team Stoeckl/ Goeber produces one monodrama for each festival.
Since 2012 Julia is studying with William Esper at the renowed William Esper Studio in New York.
